County staff presented an AIA form contract with Kevco to renovate the government center, with a contract amount of $455,345; preconstruction conferences are complete and demo work was described as beginning imminently. The board moved to accept the contract and approved it by voice vote.
Staff also presented Cottonwood Commons Plat 1587 for final approval; the development agreement and bonding are in place and the plat covers 16 lots. The board approved the plat by motion.
Coroner Matthew Tomlin presented a renewal for a contract covering Carmen Kerberg that includes a 3% raise previously appropriated by the council; commissioners approved the renewal. The board approved meeting minutes from Nov. 4 and approved payroll and claims by voice vote.
Commissioners requested insurance and contract review steps (staff to email relevant documents to county reviewers) before work continues.
