Horacio Uricha, the county engineer, presented six bids for a county paving project and asked the board to take them under advisement.
Uricha listed the bidders and amounts: Temple and Temple, $873,006.58; Louisville Paving Company, $762,206.45; Libs Paving, $659,494.05; C and R Construction, $667,616.50; E and B Paving, $644,500.00; and Mac Construction, $624,388.00. After confirming the count of six bids, a commissioner moved and the board voted unanimously to take the bids under advisement.
Separately, staff presented three quotes to improve a truck bed (roughly $10,064 to $13,988). Commissioners discussed vendor availability and a prior quote adjustment, then moved and approved the purchase by voice vote.
