The Lake Bluff Village Board approved its warrant report for Nov. 11–24 on Nov. 24, with trustees noting several nonroutine items including the final year of a Target sales-tax rebate and a partial refund tied to Shore Acres tree mitigation.

Village administration described the Target agreement as a 10-year arrangement that had shared incremental sales-tax revenue with the company up to an agreed cap. The administrator said the contract reached its 10-year term and the village “is gonna realize a 100% of those sales tax dollars to the village.” Trustees reacted with a mix of historical recollection and congratulations to the trustee who negotiated the original deal.

The board also discussed a Shore Acres matter involving a permit and a payment-in-lieu of replanting; staff said trees had been replanted and audits had been conducted as part of the permit conditions, with a residual $60,000 potentially available if additional plantings are completed.

After trustee questions, the clerk called a roll and the board approved the warrant report. The vote recorded trustees present and voting in the affirmative by name.
