At its Nov. 24 meeting the Needham Park and Recreation Commission approved the minutes of Nov. 10, 2025, by unanimous voice vote and handled several scheduling and administrative items.

The commission confirmed tentative meeting dates (Dec. 8; a tentative Dec. 22 meeting that may be canceled for the holidays; Jan. 12 and Jan. 26), and staff noted a field summit scheduled for the 20th with an earlier start time for participating boards. The memorial park trustees asked to meet with the commission before the summit to discuss capital planning for a 90‑foot diamond at Mercurio; staff will coordinate dates.

The chair said the commission will convey its Pollard/DeFazio position at the all‑boards summit later the same evening. The meeting adjourned following a motion and second.
