The Northeastern RAC approved two remaining agenda items near the end of the meeting: amendments to R65742 (natural disaster relief) and CWMU landowner permit recommendations.
Lindy (listed as Linda in the agenda) presented the natural disaster relief amendments; RAC members moved to accept the amendments, the motion was seconded and passed unanimously. No public comments were recorded for that item.
On CWMU and landowner permits, Darren provided clarifications: Salt Wells CWMU acreage will drop by 28,614 acres because many landowners withdrew participation, leaving approximately 7,800 acres in that CWMU; as a result, deer permits and some pronghorn allocations for that CWMU will be reduced. He also noted a two‑bear CWMU will drop elk permits. Members had no further questions and the RAC voted unanimously to accept the recommendations.
Nut graf: Both items were moved and approved without controversy; the CWMU changes were clarified to reflect acreage reductions and consequent permit adjustments.
Ending: With those votes the RAC concluded its agenda, announced the next board meeting for December 4 at 9 a.m., and adjourned.
