The Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners approved the consent agenda (items 8–27) on Nov. 20.
Highlights include the auditor's financial transactions for October 2025; an administration actions report; a $2,200,000 budget adjustment (largest allocation ~$1,700,000 to the county engineer for field construction); and authorization for the administration to negotiate an agreement with MSA Architects for a facility condition assessment of Great American Ballpark, a partnership the county described as coordinated with the Cincinnati Reds. Tim O'Connell, vice president of the Cincinnati Reds, attended the meeting and was acknowledged by commissioners.
Other consent items approved included bid awards and contracts, a $52,310 purchase for facilities, purchase orders totaling $8,852,107, accounting services with Plante Moran (~$37,762) for Job and Family Services, geotechnical amendments for the Regional Safety Complex (~$72,140), a chiller replacement amendment at the Taft Law Center (~$2,524,000), a tentative collective bargaining agreement with the FOP communications supervisors, JFS renewal agreements and caseworker support contracts, and a $100,000 residential treatment agreement with Piney Ridge Treatment Center (doing business as Yellow Rock Behavioral Health). The sheriff reported no objection to a liquor permit application for Harper Station LLC at 11301 Montgomery Road in Symmes Township (item 27). Commissioners approved the consent package and adjourned the meeting.
