Board members reviewed six calendar options for 2025–26 meeting dates and debated timing that would allow coordination with Alpine School District and municipal council meetings. An initial motion to adopt Option 2 failed; later the board adopted Option 6 (motion by Board Member Strong, second by Board Member Lincoln) with amendments that add December meetings in Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers on Dec. 3 and Dec. 15 and a Dec. 17 work session.

Members discussed pros and cons about meeting before or after Alpine School District meetings and agreed the schedule can be amended in future years; board leadership emphasized that it’s easier to cancel meetings than to add them once set on the calendar.

The approved calendar was described as an initial schedule that the board expects to adjust as work sessions, searches and interviews are scheduled.
