Council and town staff honored Harry Herzog Sr., a longtime member of the local fire service, as the November employee of the month. Town Manager Michael Griffin and fire captains presented a certificate and thanked Herzog for nearly five decades of service and frequent volunteer participation in department events.

Griffin praised the dedication and risk firefighters accept on behalf of the community and emphasized the importance of the department’s public-safety mission. Captains and council members thanked Herzog for his service and the town presented an official citation.

The recognition was followed by public applause and an invitation for a photo; council members and residents congratulated Herzog after the presentation.
