Lake Havasu City planning commission recommends four land-use changes for properties near golf course

The Lake Havasu City Planning and Zoning Commission on Wednesday recommended approval of four related land-use requests affecting parcels adjacent to the Lake Havasu City Golf Course, voting 7–0 on each item.
Trevor Kearns, a city staff member, told the commission that the first pair of actions concerns 2400 Wood Lane, where the property owner purchased an adjoining portion of the golf-course parcel and seeks to align the future land-use map and zoning so the combined lot can be used for residential purposes. "The subject property is on Wood Lane, south of Hogan Lane," Kearns said, and staff noted the general-plan amendment is the first step before a rezone and that both items are scheduled for the City Council meeting on Dec. 9, 2025.
