Hampton Township Council on Nov. 19 authorized the manager to advertise an RFP for a $1.5 million tax and revenue anticipation note to cover a large debt service payment expected in January and approved a contingent transfer of up to $300,000 from the 2025 general fund operating budget to the capital improvement fund.

The manager told the council this is an annual exercise and that finalized RFPs will be sent to roughly seven financial institutions. Council members were told the transfer to the capital improvement fund would not exceed available year‑end revenues and staff will report the final transfer amount in January.

Both measures passed on roll‑call votes. The RFP motion and the transfer motion were moved, seconded and carried unanimously by the recorded roll calls during the meeting. No amendments or conditions beyond the revenue contingency were listed.
