Weber County commissioners voted on Nov. 25 to approve the consent agenda items that included purchase orders and warrants totaling several hundred thousand dollars.
Finance staff member Ricky Etch reported 15 purchase orders this week totaling roughly $180,235.52, with the largest shares for property management ($47,000 for cameras and door-access upgrades), the sheriff’s office ($31,000 for rescue equipment and computer hardware) and jail and conference center purchases. Etch also reported 176 warrants issued this week totaling about $4,505,378.56; roughly $2.2 million was for road construction projects in West Haven and other road work paid from a road fund.
Top payees included the city of West Haven (~$1.6 million), Asphalt Construction and Excavating (~$645,000), Vital Core Health Strategies (~$478,000), WeWork Human Services (~$231,000) and Town and Country Flooring (~$220,000). Commissioners had no substantive questions on the items; an unidentified commissioner moved to approve consent items F-1 through F-13, the motion was seconded and the chair recorded the vote 'Aye.' The motion carried.
