The Utah Watersheds Council met virtually for a brief session in which members approved the prior meeting's minutes, discussed bylaws and election timing, and set the first meeting of 2026.

Carly Payne called attendees by name. The chair asked for a motion to approve the minutes; a motion and second were recorded and the chair called the vote, stating it was unanimous. The meeting transcript records an attribution that the motion to approve was "from Scott and a second by David." The council then discussed bylaws and the timing of elections, with Carly Payne noting that bylaws list elections for chair, vice chair, secretary and the Utah Watersheds Council representative and suggesting holding elections in January.
