Following an executive session for land, legal, personnel, student safety and cybersecurity matters, the Bibb County Board of Education approved multiple personnel items on Thursday.

Motions to approve PS1 and PS2 were moved and seconded and will be sent to the consent agenda. PS2.1 was approved after a recorded abstention by Miss Johnson; the clerk noted the item passed "by 7 to 0 to 1" with Miss Johnson abstaining. PS5 passed a recorded vote of 7–1 and will also move forward with a "due pass" recommendation for new-business consideration.

Chair and committee leaders confirmed the items were considered in executive session and then returned for the public vote sequence. No additional specifics on individual personnel actions were disclosed during the public meeting.
