At its Nov. 25 meeting, the Washington County Commissioners Court recorded the following outcomes by voice vote (motions moved, seconded and carried unless otherwise noted):
- Proclamation: Adopted a proclamation designating Dec. 13, 2025, as National Wreaths Across America Day in Washington County (Item 3). Motion carried.
- Expo rental contracts: Approved Washington County Expo rental contracts and authorized the county judge to sign; funds to come from the Records Management Fund for related items as noted (Item 4). Motion carried.
- Appraisal District board votes: Approved a resolution to allocate the county’s 1,521 appraisal-district votes equally among five candidates (four candidates allocated 304 votes each; one candidate allocated 305 votes). Motion carried (Item 5).
- Interlocal agreement: Approved renewal of the interlocal agreement with the Regional Public Defender Office for capital-case representation. Motion carried (Item 6).
- Audit acceptance: Approved acceptance of the 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (audit) by Singleton Clark & Company, PC (Item 7). Motion carried.
- Tyler Technologies purchase: Approved purchase of Tyler Technologies records-management software through the Sourcewell cooperative contract 060624-TT1; purchase funded from the Records Management Fund and authorized the county judge to sign (Item 8). Motion carried.
- Records-administration transfer: Approved moving the non-consent record contract administrator from Precinct 1 Constable’s Office to the Sheriff’s Office (Item 9). Motion carried.
- Certification pay and PCIP amendment: Approved adding civil process proficiency certification pay to eligible constable positions, adding telecommunicators certification pay to eligible sheriff’s office positions, and approving an amendment to combine and clarify the PCIP program’s eligible positions (Items 10–12). Motions carried.
- Accounts payable: Approved payment of approximately $725,000 in county bills at today’s meeting, including recurring costs such as helicopter and rock materials (Item 15). Motion carried.
