Supervisor announces Porterville dumpsters for community cleanup and Douglas holiday parade

Supervisor Gomez announced free community dumpsters at the Porterville fire station on Grey Street starting Dec. 5 (and again Dec. 13–14) for tires, appliances and trash, and reminded residents about the Douglas Christmas light parade scheduled this Saturday at 7:00 a.m.
Supervisor Gomez used the meeting’s announcements period to share two community reminders. Gomez said dumpsters will be available in Porterville at the fire station on Grey Street starting Dec. 5 to allow residents to dispose of tires, appliances and other trash; additional dumpster days are scheduled for Dec. 13–14 at the same location.
Gomez also announced that the Douglas Christmas light parade will take place this Saturday at 7:00 a.m.
