The Chattanooga Beer Board handled routine licensing items and administrative business during its November 20, 2025 meeting. Regulatory staff reported approvals for TE106 and TE108; the board also recorded that a pending carryout beer application at 200 Browns Ferry (formerly Mapco Express Inc.) had been approved by zoning and regulatory reviewers.
Applicant Curtis Anderson, representing Pax Brew Room (Beer1375), told the board he had completed the required fire department reinspection and uploaded the report and photos. Legal and regulatory staff checked the application materials, located the supplementary inspection report and confirmed they could sign off on the permit once documents are properly in the system.
The chair asked for and received a motion to approve the minutes of the Nov. 6, 2025 meeting; members voted to adopt the minutes by voice. The board also addressed scheduling and voted to reschedule its January 1, 2026 meeting to January 8, 2026, to avoid holiday conflicts; the roll call recorded one recorded 'no' among mostly affirmative votes.
Board staff noted a pending hearing set for Dec. 18 for a citation related to operating without a beer permit (for a separate matter) and reminded applicants that permit renewals and portal processes remain the mechanism for approvals when the board is not meeting. Several permit applicants were notified they did not need to appear because regulatory approvals had already been completed.
