Heath outlined initial costs for three elevators: about $11 per month for the telephone number, $40 per month for a cellular plan for the elevator, and a one‑time equipment charge of $65 per elevator. Heath summarized the combined recurring cost as roughly "$51 a month for the service for the elevator," and said the county can transition additional elevators later.
Chair entertained a motion to approve the multi‑service contract; commissioners seconded and voted aye. The IT department will begin the initial rollout for the three elevators and plan a phased transition for other locations.
