Dennis, the commission director, introduced the resolution and invited questions after the hearing. With no substantive questions from commissioners, an official moved to adopt the budget and the body approved the resolution by voice vote.
The adopted budget follows the commission’s public hearing and staff briefings earlier in the meeting. According to staff, the hearing was opened and closed without public comment, and the commission proceeded immediately to the vote.
The commission did not record a roll-call tally in the transcript; votes were taken by voice and commissioners signified their approval by saying “aye.” The commission did not add further amendments during the meeting.
The budget adoption enables the redevelopment commission to proceed with its planned projects and allocations in 2026. Staff said required public notices and documentation had been completed prior to the hearing and that any next procedural steps will be handled by the director’s office.
