County reports demolition and lot clearing under Lily Gift Aid project; lots slated for sale for infill housing

"Those lots will probably be up for sale first of the year or at least the first quarter," a staff member said, adding that the county is seeking to encourage infill housing on the cleared lots. Staff called the project a positive development for the community and said demo contractors were doing a good job.
Commissioners did not take further action on the item at the meeting; staff indicated the parcels will be made available for sale and for potential residential redevelopment in the coming months.
