The presenter emphasized timing: if right-of-way work is not moved up, the project could slip and risk losing its scheduled funding.
"We don't wanna miss out on any of this moving forward, because with our right of way and stuff... it could put our bridge behind schedule," the highway speaker told the board, urging approval of the supplement so the county would retain its funding slot.
Commissioners moved, seconded and recorded approval to authorize the supplement and to sign the necessary paperwork by Thursday as requested by staff.
Next steps: County staff will finalize the supplement documents and execute them to allow right-of-way work and public involvement to proceed this fiscal year.
