Board members approved the calendar for 2026 by motion. A motion was then made and passed to appoint Lynn as chair and a separate motion passed to appoint Tracy as vice chair. Staff said that Lynn and Tracy — and another board member — will serve on the technical advisory committee to work with the consultant. Planning staff identified CodaMetrics as the consultant selected to update the city’s zoning ordinance and said the technical advisory committee will meet monthly to guide the process.
Staff also told the board that, due to limited minute‑taking capacity, the office will temporarily switch to decision‑based minutes that summarize motions and outcomes; verbatim recordings and transcripts will remain available and can be produced on request for a fee.
No further action was taken on these administrative items during the meeting.
