The Blacksburg Town Council approved a two-item consent agenda unanimously by roll call. The consent agenda included approval of the town council minutes from Nov. 12 and authorization for the town manager to execute the Miller Street Cooperative Development agreement.
At the meeting Clerk (Speaker 2) moved to approve the consent agenda and a second was recorded. The Clerk called the roll; Council Members Oliver, Ford, Mattingly, Sutton, Watson and Anderson each voted "Aye." The motion carried and the consent items were adopted. The meeting contained no further votes.
The council then opened citizen comments and proceeded to announcements about upcoming local events. The council adjourned after announcing a Dec. 2 work session and a Dec. 9 full meeting.
