The Rockland School Committee on Nov. 24 approved a slate of routine items by voice vote, including the Oct. 27 minutes, monthly administrator reports, financial reports for the district and student activities, and department head monthly reports.
The committee received summaries of completed fundraisers: the Class of 2028 T-shirt sale collected $740 with $624 in expenses (net $116); a Class of 2028 yard-line raffle collected $835 with no expenses; a yard-flocking fundraiser collected $1,700 with $500 expenses (net $1,200); calendar magnet sales collected $840 with $125 expenses (net $715); and an RHS GSA pumpkin candy-gram fundraiser raised $42.
The committee also approved two new fundraisers — Rockland's Got Talent and a Chipotle night organized by Casey Levesque and the Class of 2029 — and approved recommended homeschool requests after a superintendent recommendation.
All routine approvals were completed by voice vote; the transcript records the motions and second(s) but does not include roll-call vote tallies.
