Hoffman Estates officials held ribbon-cutting ceremonies to welcome three new businesses to the village and promoted village anniversary merchandise.
At 2509 West Golf Road in the Village Shopping Center, Mustafa Coffee House celebrated an opening as a 24-hour business. "Mustafa Coffee House was our family dream," said a representative at the ceremony. Village officials presented a ceremonial key to the business and encouraged residents to visit.
Patrick, representing Socks Outlet at 19 West Golf Center in Hoffman Estates, said the store focuses on workwear — jackets, shirts, boots, scrubs and accessories — and aims to offer items across price ranges. Officials also welcomed Kaizen Jiu Jitsu at 1762 West Algonquin Road in the Forest View Shopping Center; a speaker described Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a grappling-focused martial art useful for self-defense and said the new studio fills a local need.
Separately, the village promoted two books and limited-edition ornaments marking Hoffman Estates' 50th anniversary; items were advertised at $5 each and the transcript states proceeds "will benefit" an entity referenced as "Veil" (the beneficiary was not specified in the transcript). Village representatives closed the edition with thanks from HETV.
