Mayor delivered a Thanksgiving message thanking residents for community support and kindness, encouraged participation in the Sandy Coat and Food Drive collecting warm coats for local shelters and canned goods for the Utah Food Bank, and invited the public to the "Light Up the Karens" holiday event featuring free hot cocoa, a visit with Santa, performances by local children'9s choirs and a Holiday Boutique Market showcasing local businesses and artisans. The mayor closed by wishing residents a warm, safe Thanksgiving and urged continuing small acts of kindness throughout the season.
