At its Nov. 12 meeting the Wythe County Board of Supervisors approved several actions that came out of the Budget Committee’s Nov. 5 meeting.
A committee representative presented three recommendations: approve a contract amendment with RGHE (described in committee as a minimum wage increase), amend and appropriate $10,000 to account 4401‑46520 for repairs to a chisel transmission system pump station, and adopt the proposed erosion and sediment control plan review and inspection fees as scheduled. Chair read each committee action and the board approved them by roll call; no supervisor requested additional discussion.
The pump‑station appropriation is a $10,000 amendment to a specified account for repairs; the erosion and sediment fee schedule will apply to future plan reviews and inspections as presented. The contract amendment text and the precise new wage level were not read into the record during the meeting; the board approved the committee recommendations on the consent of the floor.
