Redmond Lights will return Saturday, Dec. 6 with a kickoff event at Downtown Park, the city announced.

An unnamed city announcer described the program as featuring illuminated art installations, an illuminary trail, shimmering faux snow that falls every 30 minutes and other attractions intended for families and visitors.

The announcer encouraged attendance and highlighted the festival-style elements planned for the kickoff. No ticketing, start time or inclement-weather plans were provided in the broadcast.
