The Bayonne Rent Control Board approved four tenant applications at a public hearing on Nov. 24, 2025, and postponed one application until next month.

Salvatore Calabse, sitting in for the chairperson, told attendees the board would consider a set of applications via a mass vote and warned that "no application will be heard once the board members have voted and public hearing is closed." The board later read the listed addresses into the record, including 32 West 18, Apartment Number 1, with applicant name Maria Flora identified during the reading.

An unidentified board participant said, "I just wanna make note that application 233 Avenue E will be tabled for next month." The board acknowledged that item would be removed from the mass vote and considered at the next meeting.

Following the reading of the four remaining applications, Calabse moved to approve the four items and an unidentified speaker seconded the motion. In a roll call vote, Board member Clapsey voted to approve, Board member Tisha Chatham Nichols voted to approve, Board member Charlie Prieto voted to approve, and Board member Tina Siciliano recorded approval; the board declared the mass vote approved.

There were no recorded objections during the reading and no applications were heard after the vote. The meeting was adjourned at 7:03 p.m.

The board noted the meeting complied with New Jersey's Sunshine Law and that notice had been filed with the city clerk and posted in the municipal building.
