Long Beach — LBTV was named Content Creator of the Year at the 2025 Capio Star Awards, bringing home 12 honors, including first place for community event coverage of the Long Beach Airport's Festival of Flight.

In cultural programming, the Long Beach Historical Society’s "Olympics on the Golden Shore" exhibition traces the city's ties to the 1932 and 1984 Olympics with photographs, volunteer uniforms, tickets and archival material; curators noted the exhibit will remain through 2025 and then travel to other venues. One curator recounted that a $25 permit fee once threatened the torch relay, but a donor paid the fee so the relay could pass through Long Beach.

Libraries across the city marked Latin American Heritage Month with Vida Latina programming. The Mark Twain Neighborhood Library hosted a "cruising Long Beach" lowrider event (10/03/2025), partnering with nonprofit DSF Works and local lowrider clubs to showcase cars as intergenerational cultural expression and to offer resources and trades training to youth.
