El Paso County declared Nov. 22, 2025 National Adoption Day and recognized local partners who organized adoption ceremonies that united children with permanent families.

Judge Selena Saenz and representatives from the Heart Gallery of El Paso, CASA and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services described a recent Adoption Day in which seven families adopted ten children and highlighted ongoing needs for foster homes, CASA volunteers and community support. The 65th Judicial District’s adoption activity and the Heart Gallery’s outreach were praised by commissioners and community partners.

Commissioners urged residents to consider foster or adoptive parenting and directed interested parties to county and state resources for information sessions. The court adopted the resolution by motion.
