DeKalb County commissioners on Nov. 10 approved an amended animal control ordinance after second and third reading.
The county attorney and staff confirmed the ordinance text was provided in advance and eligible for title‑only passage under the county’s rules. Commissioner Speaker 6 moved to accept the amended ordinance (described in the meeting as "Cal County commissioners, amended bridal control ordinance number 20 20 25 days o dash 8") on second and third reading; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
Staff said the ordinance will be recorded and a copy sent to the county offices. No public comments opposed the ordinance during the consideration in this meeting.
The action was procedural and the ordinance is now in effect pending recording; staff will circulate the recorded copy to the board and interested parties.
