City staff presented Vision 2030, an updated strategic plan that builds on the 2017 plan and reflects 18 months of stakeholder engagement, including a data review of prior outreach and surveys that reached approximately 1,700 stakeholders and engagement from over 3,400 community members. The plan adds a fourth focus area, organizational excellence, alongside sustainability and resilience, public health and safety, and community pride.
Staff said the commission will gather Nov. 13 to prioritize 24 goals that will support implementation. The commission adopted Resolution 24‑46 to approve the plan; the adoption vote was recorded in the transcript as 6‑0.
Staff directed residents and stakeholders to largo.com/strategicplan for full plan details and noted additional internal and external communications and rollout steps over the following months.
