The board accepted the East of 951 ad hoc advisory committee's report and agreed to convert it into a rural Golden Gate Estates restudy committee to participate in the upcoming Growth Management Plan review. Committee chair Mark Teeters summarized meetings, speakers and the Collier Interactive Growth Model work used to analyze transportation, public utilities, schools and other services. Commissioners asked for an after-action plan and directed staff to keep the committee involved during GMP review and to bring back position points for board action.
