Jody, representing San Pedro Kiwanis' Just Kids Inc., told KWCD listeners that the 'Stocking Stuffers' program has operated for decades and will provide clothing packages this year to approximately 587 children identified through school nurses across Sierra Vista, Palominas, Huachuca City and Tombstone.

Each beneficiary receives two pairs of pants, two shirts, socks, underwear, shoes and sometimes a jacket; the program also supports families year-round through a 'Gifts from the Heart' fund for toiletries and other needs. Jody provided donation instructions: checks to Just Kids Inc., PO Box 2062, Sierra Vista AZ 85636; online donations via www.justkidssv.org; and a Facebook presence at Just Kids Inc. She also described volunteer wrapping sessions at local lodges and planned delivery of packages on Dec. 13.

Jody said most sponsor slots were already filled but that shoppers and monetary donations remain helpful to complete sizes and special-needs requests.
