Community service officer Trish Harmon said the Roadrunner Classic pickleball tournament will be held Dec. 6 to raise funds for Special Olympics Arizona. The tournament will use skill-based divisions (unrated/2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+) and accepts teams of two.

Registration is $40 per team (or $20 per person). Harmon asked registrants to provide contact information and player names and said organizers can accept cash, check or card at the event. She provided a contact phone number for advance registration (520-803-3550) and an email address (trish.harman@sierravistaaz.gov). Harmon said donations to Special Olympics Arizona can also be made via a QR code that links to a Square payment page or by checks made out to Special Olympics Arizona.
