Prospective coffee-shop owners ask board for clarity on commercial moratorium impact

Village staff responded that the moratorium items remain under review, that the number of businesses affected could change, and that staff cannot predict whether the moratorium will be extended; trustees did not indicate a decision at the Nov. 4 meeting. The board did not take formal action during public comment but acknowledged the concerns and pointed to staff follow-up.
