Superintendent Haim credited the Lawton Public Schools foundation and community donors for substantial support that year: grants of $10,000 to 26 buildings (totaling $260,000), more than $200,000 in teacher grants, and foundation contributions toward a hog barn project.

"Big shout out to Lisa Carson and the board and everybody who supports," Haim said, praising the foundation's shift from funding staples to supporting innovative classroom projects. On athletics, Haim noted recent playoff wins for McArthur and Ike, said Lott and High's bleachers were expected to be installed this week and discussed plans to improve handicap parking and concession access for future home games.
