Advisory members ask county to study added hangar lighting after rate increase

"It is very dark in those hangers when it's dark out," Speaker 3 said, noting that the board member’s own hangars have three fixtures. The speaker requested that the county examine the cost to add fixtures, especially now that hangar rates have been increased.
Staff acknowledged the request and said they would examine options. Jared (addressed by name during the meeting) told members, "we will start looking at that" and cautioned it could be a significant lift to complete the work. Staff agreed to report back with plans.
Board members asked where increased rate revenue is being spent. Speaker 4 said the Peter Prince budget and an itemized fiscal-year document are publicly available on the county website and that staff will email a direct link and previously posted expenditure documents to the board by the end of the week.
