Mayors and school officials outline marina, school roofing and transport needs

"We are putting together a strategy to... create more of a bulkhead canal system to the Inner Marina," Webb said, noting the city's interest in grants and appropriations.
School officials thanked the delegation for a $475,000 appropriations award that has been applied to district roofing projects and asked for continued support for FEFP increases to accommodate compensation, FRS and insurance costs, and a boost to the school transportation formula to address rural transportation expenses.
No formal appropriations were made at the meeting; presenters said they planned in follow-up to meet with delegation staff to refine specific requests and timelines.
