Councilors revisited the International Falls Ambulance Service and the city’s outreach to the county board.

At the previous meeting the council had approved drafting a letter to the county board; at Monday’s meeting councilors said they had not yet received written correspondence in reply. “As of today, I have not,” one councilor said. Other councilors reported receiving positive verbal feedback that a county letter was coming and that they would follow up midweek if it had not arrived.

No formal action or vote was recorded on the ambulance service at Monday’s meeting; councilors asked staff to follow up with the county and to report back if the written response was not received.
