EMA warns Grant County remains in severe (D2) drought; commissioners urged public caution on outdoor burning

Jackson said EMA is not yet comfortable lifting the burn ban and asked the public to exercise caution, especially on windy days. He also noted a traffic history management class held Nov. 8 with roughly 25–30 attendees and said EMA staff will assist Delaware County with funeral details for a deputy killed in the line of duty.
Commissioners acknowledged the update and thanked EMA staff. No formal policy change or burn‑ban action was recorded on the record.
