Health Department gifts two defibrillators to Highway Department under MOU

Grant County commissioners approved a memorandum of understanding under which the Health Department will gift two Philips heart‑start defibrillators to the Highway Department.
Health Department staff said the devices were funded through HFI funds and that the Department of Health recommended an MOU recording the gift, the Highway Department's responsibility for maintenance, and staff training. Highway staff confirmed refresher training requirements (CPR/first aid cadence) are already part of department duties.
The board approved the MOU by voice vote.
