Grant County signs routine Purdue Extension service agreement

Mindy Mace, the county’s health and human sciences extension educator, said the county currently has 2.5 extension educators, including Chris Goff as a 4‑H educator and a part‑time agricultural/natural resources educator. The presiding commissioner said the agreement is routine and typically accompanies county council funding for Purdue Extension services. County counsel reviewed the agreement and staff were authorized to sign it.
The motion to approve the extension service agreement carried by voice vote.
Next steps: the agreement will be executed and Purdue Extension staff will continue local programming under the contract.
