At its Dec. 1 meeting the O'Fallon City Council handled a series of procedural and formal actions.

Reappointment: Council member Rosenberg moved to reappoint Scott Beto to the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for a three‑year term through November 2028; the motion was seconded and passed on roll call.

Executive‑session minutes: Mr. Parchment moved to release the executive‑session minutes listed in Schedule A; that motion passed on roll call. He then moved (7.2) that the minutes listed in Schedule B remain closed due to confidentiality; that motion also passed.

Warrant approval: The council approved warrant number 572 in the amount of $1,029,491.31 after motion and second. One council member stated they were a Henry Hammond employee and abstained from the vote; the remainder voted in favor and the mayor announced the motion carried.

No executive session was held during the meeting and the council adjourned following those actions.
