Grant County approves four-year reassessment contract with Nexus for $360,000

Staff emphasized that Nexus has provided reassessment services to the assessor's office in prior cycles and that Nexus was the only firm to submit a bid this round.
Commissioners moved to approve the bid so the vendor could submit a formal contract for review by Mister Harper. The board recorded unanimous approval on the motion. Staff said the vendor will provide appeals support, including representation at applicable hearings.
Next steps: county counsel will review the formal contract when it is submitted and staff will finalize procurement paperwork and implementation schedules as appropriate.
