The council opened and closed a public hearing on ordinance 7-29-2025 to change the zoning classification of Lot 13 in Woodside Business Park (Highway 31) from R-1 to B-2 (local business district). Mister Connor explained that the property previously had been rezoned to B-2 but reverted to R-1 under a reversionary clause; the planning commission recommended approval and the property owner indicated plans for a State Farm office at that location.

After closing the hearing, a motion to adopt ordinance 7-29-2025 passed on a roll-call vote recorded as 'Yes' from Smith, Gustafson, Ramsey, Wynne, Bradner/Grabner and the Mayor. The council declared the ordinance adopted.
