The Pingree Grove Village Board approved its consent agenda Dec. 1, which contained routine but consequential fiscal items: minutes from the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting; a warrant list totaling $304,480.49; ordinances establishing the village tax levy for 2025 (taxes payable in 2026) and levies/abatements for Special Service Areas 2, 4, 7 and 9; and an ordinance abating $3,030,000 of series 2018 general obligation alternate bonds.
President Kubiak said the board was "happy" to remove Special Service Areas 4 and 9 from residents’ tax bills, calling it “a big accomplishment” after work that predated the current board. A trustee moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion carried by roll call.
Items carried on the consent agenda will proceed through standard administrative processes; no separate discussion or amendments to the listed ordinances were recorded during the meeting.
The board later considered separate resolutions to accept public improvements and release bonds for multiple road and water‑main projects during the same meeting.
