The San Bernardino Parks Commission approved its August 21, 2025 minutes on the consent calendar and agreed to add several items to the next meeting agenda, including an update on Wildwood bathrooms, a check-in on the Wildwood farmers market and a discussion of commissioner response-time standards.

During the meeting the chair moved to approve minutes from Aug. 21 and Brenda seconded the motion; the chair declared the minutes approved after commissioners registered votes and abstentions. Commissioners also moved to add the Wildwood bathrooms update to the next meeting agenda and voted unanimously to add two additional future-items to the agenda.

On procedural matters, commissioners requested staff retrieve precise bylaw language about consecutive absences and advised that any formal removal of a commissioner should be agendized with adequate public notice, consistent with the Brown Act. Staff committed to returning with the bylaw language and to place the broader policy-review items on the November agenda where commissioners can deliberate and, if appropriate, recommend policy changes for Council consideration.

The meeting concluded with a set of announcements about programming and grants, and an adjournment at approximately 7:47 p.m.
