Commissioners discussed meeting attendance and timing for the upcoming hearing; several said they will try to attend next week’s meeting so the item can move forward. No formal action or vote on the rezone occurred at the May 22 meeting.

Chair William Silva said the full staff report will be provided at the next meeting and that the commission will send the item up to council if appropriate. Staff and commissioners emphasized the time sensitivity tied to escrow but did not disclose final applicant materials or a hearing date on the record.
