Porterville Downtown Committee: minutes approved, December meeting canceled; January follow-up set

The committee recorded several action items: staff will draft and distribute a city reminder and a merchants’ template for voluntary parking compliance (to be evaluated in January); Larissa will consult with the Redo It group and return with partnership recommendations; and staff will prepare enforcement and ordinance options for parking to be discussed in January when the full committee is expected to attend.
The meeting closed with public-works contact information for reporting refuse, drainage and flooding issues (staff gave (559) 782-7514 as the main public-works number) and a reminder that the committee will next meet in January.
